27歲的正妹李秋瑩14日正式上任為雲林縣第一位女消防分隊長，萬綠叢中一點紅，所有隊員全是長她2、30歲叔叔伯伯，異口同聲強調要把她當女兒疼。副縣長張皇珍自稱資深美少女，專程參加就職儀式，教她當女主管的「眉角」。170公分的李秋瑩纖細白皙，是個清秀佳人，從小到大功課名列前茅，嘉義女中畢業後，為能擁有穩定工作，誤打誤撞考上警專消防科，很多人看她體型瘦高，可能難以負荷吃重的消防工作，沒想到，她體能和課業一樣棒，不論5000公尺耐力跑或重物賽跑，從不輸人。

警專一畢業被分發到四湖消防分隊，跟著隊上打火兄弟衝鋒陷陣，拋水帶、接錨子、開火巷，一點也不輸男生，同仁視她為「哥兒們」。基層服務2年後考上警大，畢業後派任雲林消防隊專員，表現同樣出色，升任褒忠分隊長。李秋瑩的挑戰很不簡單，褒忠全隊員平均近50歲，年紀最長的林順民足足大她30歲，大家看到她像看到自己女兒，說要好好「惜惜」。她很樂於接受挑戰，說會以尊重的態度和長輩學習，最重要是顧好褒忠鄉的安全。張皇珍分享個人行政經驗，強調女性主管常會被以質疑眼光看待，別讓性別影響自己，將女性的同理心、耐心、毅力特長發揮在工作，就能快樂勝任。(中國時報)，
