中共中央紀委書記王岐山再次發威，他9月24至26日間在福建調研，11天之後，福建省長蘇樹林就在7日深夜被宣布接受調查，此前毫無徵兆，蘇樹林本人直到大陸十一長假前的9月30日還碌力從公，福建省委直到7日晚間才在被告知後匆忙召開常委會議，通報中央決定。出身中石油系統的蘇樹林，是在2011年、中共總書記習近平正式接班前，從中石化董事長調職福建，出任省委副書記，未久即升任福建省長，此前除了在遼寧任職1年之外，在中石油系統任職超過24年。

中共中央紀委書記王岐山再次發威，他9月24至26日間在福建調研，11天之後，福建省長蘇樹林就在7日深夜被宣布接受調查，此前毫無徵兆，蘇樹林本人直到大陸十一長假前的9月30日還碌力從公，福建省委直到7日晚間才在被告知後匆忙召開常委會議，通報中央決定。出身中石油系統的蘇樹林，是在2011年、中共總書記習近平正式接班前，從中石化董事長調職福建，出任省委副書記，未久即升任福建省長，此前除了在遼寧任職1年之外，在中石油系統任職超過24年。

一般認為，蘇樹林的落馬與他在石油系統任職時相關。受前中共政治局常委周永康案波及，但也有大陸媒體猜測，蘇樹林可能受到今年3月間落馬的福建省原副省長徐鋼案波及，涉及福建房地產開發腐敗問題。在徐鋼被通知落馬後，作為徐鋼的上級，蘇樹林曾遭中紀委約談，但很快回到工作崗位。今年6月間，蘇樹林再度遭到中紀委約談，自此關於蘇樹林可能涉及腐敗的問題在福建愈傳愈烈。但蘇樹林不為所動，他在8月間於《人民日報》撰寫文章「正家風是幹部必修課」，批評周永康、薄熙來、徐才厚、令計劃等人的落馬，都帶有「全家腐」性質，並稱「這些教訓沉痛而深刻」。在被宣布落馬前，蘇樹林一切工作正常，直到9月30日，還出席祭祀烈士儀式。但蘇樹林被發現，在中紀委書記王岐山於福建調研的3天中間，他並沒有出現。根據慣例，王岐山調研期間，省委書記、省長都要陪同。同樣的，根據慣例，王岐山每到一地調研，必然有「老虎」落馬。王岐山的福建之行拉下蘇樹林，再度證實了他的「神出鬼沒」、「出其不意」。福建省委在7日晚間接獲通知後緊急召開常委會，福建省委書記尤權主持會議並講話，對蘇樹林的調查「充分體現了黨中央開展反腐敗鬥爭的堅定信心和果斷措施」，「省委堅決擁護」。(中國時報)，
